WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: Core Unit (LCL-R3035): • Heat pump principles and vapor compression systems • Operational characteristics and efficiency fundamentals • Hot water cylinder design and hydraulic systems • Control systems and installation planning • Testing, commissioning, and handover procedures • Maintenance and fault diagnosis Air Source Unit (LCL-R3036): • Preparatory work and installation requirements • Hydraulic emitter circuit installation • Unit installation (non-refrigeration) • Testing and commissioning procedures • Routine service maintenance PREREQUISITES: Candidates must hold current Level 2/3 qualifications in: • Plumbing • Heating and Ventilating (domestic, industrial, or commercial) • Oil-Fired Technical Services • Gas Installation and Maintenance Alternatively, three years' experience in heating installation with Gas Safe, OFTEC, MCS, or HETAS registration qualifies applicants. Current WRAS Water Regulations certification is also required if not included in existing credentials.
