Meet Our Training Team

Dave has spent over two decades behind the wheel of everything from rigids to artics, and the last twelve years teaching others to do the same. Calm, patient and DVSA-approved, he has guided hundreds of learners to a first-time Cat C and C+E pass.

Takes candidates from first lesson to full licence on our own off-road area and the Exeter test routes.

Karen leads our Driver CPC periodic training and keeps the classroom lively — no death-by-PowerPoint here. She specialises in making the mandatory 35 hours genuinely useful, covering tachograph rules, drivers’ hours and safe, fuel-efficient driving.

Michelle trains and tests counterbalance, reach and pivot-steer truck operators for warehouse and yard environments. Approachable and exacting in equal measure, she runs novice, refresher and conversion courses to RTITB standard.

Raj came up through the construction trade before moving into training, so he teaches from real site experience. An accredited tester for excavators, dumpers and telehandlers, he is known for thorough pre-use checks and a no-shortcuts approach to safety.

A former NHS responder, Sue delivers our Emergency First Aid and First Aid at Work courses with warmth and plenty of hands-on practice. She makes a potentially daunting subject feel manageable, so learners leave genuinely confident to act.

Gary takes the stress out of towing, from coupling and reversing to confident on-road handling with a loaded trailer. Friendly and unflappable, he is a favourite with first-time towers and fleet drivers alike.

Roger is our dangerous-goods specialist with a quarter-century in transport and logistics. He delivers ADR core, packages and tanker modules with the authority of someone who has seen it all, and a knack for making the regulations stick.

Aisha keeps the centre running smoothly and delivers our wider skills and induction sessions. She is usually the first friendly voice learners hear, and the person who makes sure everyone is booked, inducted and ready to train.
